The Internet is everywhere. So is radio. But the best place to grow a live music audience is
through television. Bands and artists can be seen and heard doing what they do best. The Midwest Music Foundation plans to produce a television series called “LIVE. HEAR. NOW.”, showcasing Kansas City music and musicians. In an Austin City Limits style show, we plan to juxtapose different genres of local and regional music in an hour long, performance driven program. The series will be created, produced, and distributed locally through television as well as archived online at www.midwestmusicfound.org.
